Jimmer Fredette on The Life with Matt Bonner 2-4-13

Jimmer Fredette was college basketball’s biggest star two years ago. A Jimmer highlight or two was a must for every ‘Sportscenter’ telecast. Now he comes off the bench, and in fact didn’t play until the second half if last week’s game against the Celtics.

He’s averaging 7.4 points per game, and only playing 14 minutes per night. His final year at BYU he averaged 28.9 points per game.

NBA stardom hasn’t shined on him yet, but he told us in a interview that aired last night on “The Life with Matt Bonner” that he isn’t giving up.

“(My expectations) are high, I want to be a great player in this league,” said Fredette. “I want to play for a long-time and be on successful teams.”
