Leslie has a\u00a0Ph.D. in Theatre History from UT Austin\u00a0and spent an intensive year at the\u00a0Dell\u2019Arte International School of Physical Theatre (sometimes referred to as \u201cclown school&#8221;. She has won a couple of Spotlight Awards for her solo show, CLEAN ROOM. She has\u00a0directed and acted at a variety of places, including The Players\u2019 Ring, New Hampshire Theatre Project and The Firehouse Center for the Arts and teaches acting workshops a couple times a year at\u00a0Riverwoods Durham. She\u2019s about to start rehearsing as an actor in\u00a0AS SMALL AS STARS, by Will Murdock, which opens at the Ring on January 31st. It\u2019s being directed by Kelli Connors.
