Canterbury police Chief John LaRoche resigned from his position with the town Monday as he prepares to defend himself against sexual assault charges in court.
\nCanterbury Town Administrator Ken Folsom said selectmen voted to accept his resignation, effective immediately. The vote was taken during the public portion of a selectmen’s meeting Monday.
