Wednesday marked our monthly “Small Business Matters” program in association with the U.S. Small Business Administration N.H. District Office. Featured this month was Sousa Signs, a Manchester based company that has been around for 51 years. Sousa Signs owner Justin Sousa joined us in studio to tell us how his business expanded from literally his family’s home in Pinardville to a multi-million dollar company on East Industrial Park Drive in Manchester. Much of the expansion came as the result of an SBA 504 loan from the Capital Regional Development Council. Jennifer Boulanger, Senior Loan Officer of the C.R.D.C was with us to explain the loan process and how other businesses can apply for the loan that Sousa Signs received which created their expansion and led to their being named the 2024 “Small Business Administration New Hampshire Manufacturer of the Year”.
