In a potpourri Tuesday version of the program we featured some music from Civil War days to Dire Straits. Also on Tuesday we featured a recent A.A.R.P./Better Business Bureau report on the top five scams to be aware of. Scams are increasing and, given today’s technology, becoming more sophisticated. According to the FBI, scams reported by Americans 60 and older were up 11 percent last year over the year before and those over 60 reportedly lost more than $3.4 billion in 2023 to scammers.
