Most of us who enjoy the music of the 60’s weren’t aware of the impact of a group of studio musicians had on what we were enjoying. Those musicians were known as The Wrecking Crew. The Wrecking Crew were an elite group of Los Angeles studio musicians who quietly played on hundreds of hit records in the 1960s—and shaped the sound of modern pop.
