At the Granite State Baseball Dinner in Manchester NH native Chris Carpenter talked for the first time about his decision to retire from baseball with Chris Ryan. After helping to pitch the Cardinals to World Series titles in 2006 and 2011 and winning the 2005 NL Cy Young Carpenter hopes to move into the St Louis front office to master the player development and business side of the game.
