Two new members of the Concord City Council joined their colleagues on Monday night, as the group was sworn in for another term. But the pair of councilors who have just assumed their positions aren’t new to the job.
Jennifer Kretovic took over Jan McClure’s seat in Ward 3. Kretovic served one term in Ward 2 between 2011 and 2013; she lost a 2013 challenge to McClure in Ward 3 after redistricting.
Linda Kenison, who replaced Allen Bennett in Ward 6, served seven years on the council in the 1980s and is also a first-term state representative.
Both of the incumbents decided not to run for reelection.
