Nashua votes to stock schools with Narcan

Nashua School board members voted Monday night in favor of stocking schools with Narcan, a medication that can reverse opioid overdoses.
Many school districts in New Hampshire are considering the same move.
Nashua Superintendent Mark Conrad said he’s not aware of there ever being an opioid overdose in any of the city’s schools, but he called on school board members to stock Narcan just in case.
Conrad wants school nurses and principals to be able to administer Narcan.
